Small cookies.
Clear choices.
What this site remembers, why it needs it, and how you stay in control.
What cookies remember
Cookies are small browser records that a website can read on later requests. Session storage stays with a browser tab; local storage can remain between visits. We explain all three here because your controls should cover what is stored, not just what it is called.
We currently use essential storage for requested features such as secure sign-in, a service-selection draft, the shopping cart and remembering your essential-only choice. Advertising pixels, analytics cookies and WooCommerce campaign-attribution tracking are not enabled by this setup. There is no “accept all” button for tracking that is not offered.
The storage used here
The list describes standard lifetimes for the current site features. A cookie is set only when its associated feature needs it. Names ending in * contain a site-specific suffix. Server-side settings, browser clearing and security controls can shorten a lifetime.
The preference record contains only the essential-only choice, a policy version and a timestamp. It contains no account name, IP address or unique advertising identifier. Older Sourcebuster campaign cookies named sbjs_* are removed by the notice script; new campaign attribution is disabled.
| Name / storage | Purpose | Usual duration |
|---|---|---|
wordpress_logged_in_* / wordpress_sec_* | Recognise the signed-in account and protect authenticated requests. | Sign-in session; normally up to 14 days when “Keep me signed in” is chosen. |
wordpress_test_cookie | Check that the browser can use cookies during sign-in. | Browser session. |
wp_woocommerce_session_* | Connect the browser to its server-side cart and session. | Normally 2 days, refreshed by session activity. |
woocommerce_cart_hash / woocommerce_items_in_cart | Keep cart contents and updates in sync. | Browser session. |
atlas_selection (session storage) | Restore the service codes, quantities and options selected in the builder. | Tab session; browser session-restoration settings can retain it. |
atlas_pricing_reload (session storage) | Prevent repeated price-location refreshes. | Tab session. |
atlas_privacy_v1 (local storage) | Remember your essential-only notice choice. | 180 days; removed on the next visit after expiry. |
Your controls
Choose “Accept” to acknowledge this Cookie Policy and hide the notice. This is remembered for 180 days on this browser. Acceptance does not enable advertising or analytics tracking; only essential storage is currently used. You can read this policy at any time through the Privacy Policy page.
You can clear this site’s cookies and storage using your browser’s privacy controls. Clearing them resets the notice, can sign you out and can remove your cart or draft selection. Blocking all essential cookies may stop sign-in, account security and checkout from working. In private browsing or when storage is blocked, the notice may reappear.
If we introduce optional trackers later, we will explain the purposes and provide the required choice before activating them. Saving an essential-only choice now does not authorise future optional tracking.
A biscuit for UK visitors
Our friendly notice says “biscuits” when the server detects a UK connection. The formal Cookie Policy link stays clearly labelled. This changes the wording only; the storage, pricing rules and your privacy choice are unchanged.
Detection uses an approximate IP-based country, not your browser language or GPS. VPNs, proxies or failed detection may show the standard wording. Country detection is server processing, not an advertising cookie.
Resources, security and questions
Fonts and animation files may be requested from Google Fonts, jsDelivr or Cloudflare’s CDN. These requests disclose connection details to those services even though an advertising cookie is not being enabled. Hosting security checks may use their own challenge/session mechanisms before the WordPress page loads; browser controls also apply to these.
This policy describes the public site and customer workspace. WordPress administration can have additional staff settings and security storage. External websites, domain registrars and future payment providers have separate notices when you visit or use them.
